MANILA, Philippines — Nagpasalamat si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa mainstream media sa matagumpay na coverage nito sa 31st ASEAN Summit and Related Summit.
“I wish to express my appreciation to the members of the media for your coverage throughout the year of the Philippines’ Chairmanship of ASEAN,” wika ni Pangulong Duterte sa kanyang mensahe sa mainstream media kabilang ang Malacanang Press Corps.
“You have been invaluable partners in raising ASEAN awareness to our peoples, particularly our hard work toward improving the lives of our people and in strengthening our ASEAN Community. I thank you for getting that message across to the public,” dagdag ni Pangulong Duterte sa press conference kamakalawa ng gabi sa PICC.
Aniya, malaki ang ginampanang papel ng mga mamamahayag sa paghahatid ng mahalagang impormasyon sa taumbayan kaugnay sa kahalagahan ng pagdaraos ng ASEAN Summit.
