Bimby, ‘di nagmana sa amang si James

Bimby Yap, now exactly 14 years old and tall and handsome as his top cager father, James Yap, apparently is not keen on following his father’s footsteps.

Well, as a basketball player.

He wants to study medicine once natapos na niya ang kanyang high school sa Brent International School.

Na labis na ikinatutuwa raw ni Kris Aquino, Bimby’s mom. A doctor in their family, they have none.

Both her late dad, Senator Benigno Aquino, and only brother, the late President Noynoy Aquino, were politicians.

Kris is a Bachelor of Arts major in Literature graduate from the Ateneo de Manila University.

Of Kris, quiet lang siya kung anong reaction ni Bimby sa balitang may bago siyang pag-ibig, si former DILG (Department of Interior and Local Government) Secretary Mel Sarmiento.

In fairness kay Bimby, minsan nabanggit niya sa isang interview na hindi siya pinagbabawalan ni Kris na magkaroon ng contact sa amang si James.

Pero hindi raw nagkikita ang mag-ama. Bagama’t on his 14th birthday daw last April, binati raw ni James si Bimby.

Maymay, laging may bitbit na dictionary

Personal choice pala ni Robi Domingo si Maymay Entrata para maging co-host niya sa bagong talk show, Call me MayBi.

The show reportedly will target on discussions on falling in love and what’s next, kung magkakarelasyon na kayo.

Actually, nagsimula nang isahimpapawid ang show last August 13. Yes, sa FYE Channel. And, so far, so good naman, ayon sa mga nakapanood nito.

As co-host, hindi mo aakalaing graduate ng Ateneo de Manila University si Robi, at si Maymay ng isang public school sa Cagayan.

But as someone close to Maymay said: “Actually, hindi tumitigil sa pag-aaral ‘yang si Maymay.

“Bukod sa may private tutor siya, updated siya sa mga nangyayari sa bansa, as everyday, she makes it a point to read one or two broadsheets and two tabloids din.

“At hindi siya nawawalan ng dictionary sa tabi niya.”

Barbie, ire-rescue nina Jeric at Anjo

Pambagets, according to Barbie Forteza, who plays a super heroine role ang fight scenes niya sa Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko, where she plays Captain Barbie.
