Jerome maraming pinahanga sa pag-arte

Do you know Salve A. na elder brother pala ng ama ng aktor na si Jerome Ponce ang dating premyadong aktor ng Premiere Productions na si Lauro Delgado?

The late Lauro’s real name pala was Loreto Porciuncula.

Jerome’s Dad is Jesus Porciuncula.

No less than one of the best directors ng Tagalog films, the late Gerardo de Leon, discovered Lauro for showbiz. He immediately included Lauro in one of the best movies ever he directed, Sawa Sa Lumang Simboryo.

Of Jerome, he was introduced in the Jodi Sta. Maria-Richard Yap first team-up, the comedy series, Be Careful With My Heart, kung saan ipinakilala rin si Janella Salvador.

Maja step-sister ang anak ni Malou

Not many knew (isa na ako), na may anak pala ang beteranang aktres na si Malou de Guzman sa ama ni Maja Salvador, the late Ross Rival (real name: Rosauro Salvador).

Ross, an actor din, was the younger brother nina Phillip Salvador and the late Alona Alegre.

Well, babae ang anak ni Malou kay Ross at kinikilala ito ni Maja bilang kanyang half-sister.

Magkasama sina Maja at Malou sa incoming serye na The Killer Bride na dinirek ni Dado Lumibao, which also stars two other Salvadors, Jobelle and Janella.

In the cast too of The Killer Bride ay sina Geoff Eigenmann, Eddie Gutierrez, Sam Concepcion, plus Joshua Garcia, among others.

Featured din ang former beauty queen na 20 years napahinga sa showbiz, si Aurora Sevilla na maganda pa rin kahit nadagdagan ng timbang. She has two children daw.

Of Malou, she is also in the cast of the running series, Hiwaga ng Kambat, the featured episode of Wansapanataym, co-starring her with Epi Quizon, Sunshine Cruz, Grae Fernandez, Maymay Entrata at Edward Barber.

Naliitan nga ba si Nadine Lustre sa role na sana’y gagampanan niya sa 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry na Miracle in Cell No. 7, co-starring her sana with Aga Muhlach kaya she begged off from doing it?

Bela Padilla reportedly replaced her.

Obviously, nakalimutan ni Nadine na sa isang magaling na aktres, it’s not the length of the role which counts, kung hindi kung paano niya ito gagam­panan.
