Bea nahirapan sa unang horror na pelikula!

First horror film ni Bea Alonzo ang Eerie, and it marks her first time as well to work with actress Charo Santos-Concio and direk Mikhail Red as co-star and director, respectively.

“And it wasn’t easy,” ani Bea, “Mabuti na lang, I really prepared for it.

“Hindi lang dahil impressed ako having Ma’am Charo for my co-star, but because nagandahan ako sa kuwento ng Eerie.

“Bukod, of course, sa I’ve heard quite a lot about direk Mikhail as a director. Hindi raw lang magaling, kung hindi mahusay katrabaho.”

Eerie, which premiered sa Singapore International Film Festival last December, tells the story of deaths ng ilang estudyante sa isang Catholic academy kung saan nagtatrabaho si Bea bilang isang guidance councilor, habang si Charo naman ang school supervisor.

Of Charo, Eerie is her second significant horror film after Itim, filmed more than four decades ago and directed by Mike de Leon.

What makes the two films different from each other is that more complex daw ang characterization ng dalawang  characters na involved, maliban sa horror, Eerie discusses issues about logic, faith, doctrine at science, kaya malaki ang paniniwala ni direk Mikhail, who is only 27 years old, na marami ang manonood ng Eerie, lalo na ang millennials.

Eerie, which also stars Jake Cuenca and Maxene Magalona is scheduled to open in local theaters on March 27, as well as sa ibang cinemas across Southeast Asia.

Mga artista at direktor may bagong pagkakaabalahan!

Halos lahat ng mga artista at mga direktor, not to say, content creators, ng ABS-CBN ay magiging busy sa newest offering nito na IWant Indigital Productions na mag-o-offer ng mga original anthology series via the new technology, Touch Screen.

Ang first offering ng Touch Screen ay sina Janella Salvador, Pokwang and Denise Laurel. A three-part anthology which streams sa iWant on March 6.

The first episode, Witerella, featured Janella, bilang fan of a celebrity, na sa pagnanais ma-notice ng kanyang celebrity crush uses Twitter.

This causes her to have a feud sa isang taong madi-discover niya later, is close to her pala.

In Vixee vs. Inday naman, Pokwang plays a household help na biglang nawalan ng silbi sa pamilyang kanyang pinaglilingkuran nang ang kanyang among lalaki ay nag-uwi ng isang gadget na puwedeng gawin ang lahat ng kanyang ginagawa bilang kasambahay.

Back on TV naman si Denise na pumapapel bilang isang mataas na pinuno ng isang kumpanya na tina-target ng isa niyang empleyadong (Joseph Marco) mapapaibig, via his talent as an app developer.

Nakatakda ring mag-direk for Indigital Productions ang mga dekalidad na direktors ng independent films na sina Gino Santos, Jon Red, JP Habac, Mark Meily, Mikhail Red, Lem Lorca, Dondon Santos, Noel Teehankee, Richard Somes, Ronnie Velasco, Topel Lee at Victor Villanueva.

Ian reunited kina Bea, Joshua at Julia

Excited si Ian Veneracion to reunite with Bea Alonzo, who was his leading-lady, together with Iza Calzado sa seryeng A Love To Last.

Makakasama nila si Richard Gutierrez sa bago nilang serye.

The project has no title yet.

May dalawa rin siyang artista na makakatrabahong muli sa isang pelikula naman, sina Joshua Garcia at Julia Barretto.

Titled Block Z, a zombie thriller film na ididirek pa rin ni Mikhail Red.
