Reproduction number ng COVID-19 sa NCR, 1.03 na lang

MANILA, Philippines — Inihayag ng OCTA Research Group na malapit nang maabot ng National Capital Region ang flat 1 na reproduction number.

Ito ang inanunsyo ni OCTA fellow Dr. Guido David noong Miyerkules, dahil nasa 1.03 na lang ang reproduction number sa NCR, sakop nito ang Setyembre 15 hanggang 21.

Ang reproduction number ay tumutukoy sa indibidwal na maaaring hawaan ng bawat isang kaso.

“The decrease in new cases in NCR continues. The 7-day average in new case is 4,784 (from 9.15 to 9.21), with one-week growth rate of -18%,” ani David sa kanyang tweet.

“There are still some backlog in the reports, but the error margin accounts for this,” aniya pa. “Let’s hope and pray this trend continues.”
