MANILA, Philippines — Obligahin ang Maynilad Water Services at Manila Waters gayundin ang iba pang opisina na magpalabas ng tubig mula sa Angat dam sa loob ng 150 araw mula kahapon.
Ito ang naging kautusan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) upang mabigyan ng suplay ng tubig ang mga apektadong lugar sa Metro Manila na nakakaranas ng krisis sa tubig.
“The President is aware and concerned of the sufferance of the residents of Metro Manila due the present water crisis,” wika ni Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo.
“Failure to act or comply with this directive, the President will personally go to them and make the responsible officers account for such failure,” dagdag pa ni Panelo.
Magugunita na nais paimbestigahan ng Malacañang kung “fake water crisis” ang nangyayari dahil tanging mga customers lamang ng Manila Waters ang apektado lalo’t normal ang level ng tubig sa Angat dam kung saan kumukuha rin ang Maynilad Water services.
