Umangat ang Fighting Maroon sa 12-2 baraha, habang bumagsak ang Blue Eagles sa 13-1 marka.
Dahil dito, magkakaroon ng Final Four kung saan makakasagupa ng Ateneo ang No. 4 seed Far Eastern University, habang titipanin ng UP ang De La Salle University.
Parehong armado ng twice-to-beat card ang Blue Eagles at Fighting Maroons.
Nasikwat naman ng Far Easter University ang huling tiket sa Final Four matapos pataubin ang University of Santo Tomas, 109-65.
Nagpasabog si Bryan Sajonia ng 27 points mula sa 7-of-10 shooting sa three-point area.
“We shot really well, especially in the second half. We defended better in the third quarter that’s why we pulled away. Ang mindset namin now is we need one more win to enter the Final Four,” ani FEU coach Olsen Racela.

Bumandera para sa Green Archers si Joaqui Manuel na may career-high 20 points at bumanat si Michael Phillips ng 15 points at 15 rebounds para sa kanilang 9-5 marka.
