Bagong Miss U-Ph, hindi noon pinalad sa Miss World!
Sa simula pa lang ng pageant, si Gazini Christiana Ganados from Talisay, Cebu ang paborito na ng marami na manalo ng titulong Miss Universe Philippines.
Sa naganap na coronation night sa Smart Araneta Coliseum, agree ang lahat na si Gazini ang karapat-dapat na ipadala sa Miss Universe pageant sa taong ito.
Lumaki sa kanyang lolo’t lola ang 23-year old Tourism graduate from the University of San Jose-Recoletos. Kaya naman ang advocacy niya ay nakatuon sa mga pangangailangan ng elderly citizens.
Napanalunan din ni Gazini ang special awards na Miss Photogenic at Best in Long Gown.
Bago ang Bb. Pilipinas, sumali na sa iba’t ibang pageants si Gazini. Naging Miss Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc 2016 at Miss Bohol 2017 first runner-up siya. Naging candidate din siya ng Miss World Philippines in 2014.
Ang naging sagot ni Gazini sa tanong ng judge na si Bobby Barreiro na “If you win the crown tonight, what can you do to get more women in the workplace?” ang siyang naka-convince sa mga judge na siya ang dapat manalo ng Miss Universe Philippines titled.
Heto ang sagot niya: “If I win the crown tonight, what I will do is to promote my advocacy. My advocacy is for us women to fight for our rights and for the elderly care and for us to be able to know that someone is loving and someone is pushing us to whatever ambitions that we have. We will be able to rise from our decisions to whatever dreams that we have, goals that we have, and we will achieve it because of those values, those wisdoms that they gave us. Thank you.”
Ang iba pang winners ay sina Bea Patricia Magtanong of Bataan (Bb. Pilipinas International 2019); Emma Mary Tiglao of Pampanga (Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2019); Leren Mae Bautista of Laguna (Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2019); Samantha Ashley Lo of Cebu City (Bb. Pilipinas Grand International 2019) at Resham Saeed of Maguindanao (Bb. Pilipinas Grand International 2019). 1st runner-up si Maria Andrea Abesamis of Pasig City) and 2nd runner-up si Samantha Mae Bernardo of Palawan.
