Tinatalakay sa movie ang mental health at ang controversial practice of voluntary assisted death o VAD na legally condoned in other countries, particularly in Switzerland, as long as the person who wishes to die is of sound mind and is able to end their life on their own.

Never kong naranasan ‘yung ano,” sey ng aktor.

He added, “’yung motivation ko pagdating sa trabaho, pagdating sa personal life ko, sa buhay ko, it always comes from a place of gratitude. ‘Yung sobra akong nagpapasalamat.”

“Hanggang ngayon, hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala na ‘andito tayo, andito ako, I get to do projects that can make an impact, mga teleserye, mga shows, movies. I always come from a place of gratitude. I’m always grateful sa lahat,” he said.

‘yung stress ka, iniisip mo, bakit nangyayari ‘to, paano ko aayusin ‘to, anong nagawa kong mali para mangyari ‘to?

“But I’m also… lalo na ‘pag nalampasan ko na, I’m also grateful for that challenge kasi do’n ako natuto. Kung sino ako ngayon is because of what I’ve been through. Hindi ‘yung success, hindi ‘yung mga, you know, kung anuman ‘yun.

“‘Yung success, ‘yung career, hindi, eh. It’s the failures. Mas do’n ako nag-grow bilang isang tao,” pahayag ni Gerald.

As for Kylie, inamin ng aktres na dumaan na raw siya sa mental health problem dahil na-diagnose siya before ng postpartum depression and anxiety pagkatapos niyang manganak sa bunso nila ni Aljur Abrenica na si Axl.

“So, I understand so much ‘yung pinagdadaanan nila. But also, ang natutunan ko do’n is whenever you feel like you’re in a place na medyo dark, du’n ka dapat mag-speak up lalo. Humingi ka ng tulong. It’s not wrong to ask for help. Kasi du’n ‘yung chance to connect more, eh, with the people you love.

“And I think, if ever may message man, I think, that’s the message. That’s why I said ‘yes’ to the movie.

“Na ‘please, if you’re ever in this place, ask for help. Connect with the people around you.’ Kasi we’re all human. Death is something we experience together. Lahat tayo, we’ll go through it, ‘di ba? So ‘yung fact na ‘yun alone connects us all. We have the power to connect,” saad ni Kylie.

“Some of the proceeds of the film will be given to the Mental Health Org.
