Figure skating champion Michael Martinez, artista na rin

Papasukin na rin ba ng two-time Winter Olympian at Philippines’ first ever figure skating champion na si Michael Martinez ang showbiz? May special participation kasi siya sa Hearts On Ice nina Ashley Ortega, at Xian Lim. Sa interview kay Michael sa set ng series, nasabi niyang hindi niya na-imagine na magpe-perform siya sa isang serye at makakatrabaho ng mga artista, kaya hindi niya maiwasang makaramdam ng excitement at saya.

“Hindi ko po na-imagine na pipiliin ako to perform and to show my tricks, not only that, to work with them, and I’m really happy na napili ako to do it. It is definitely something very new to me,” kuwento ni Michael.

So, may balak na rin ba siyang pasukin ang mundo ng showbiz? “Actually, this time, ‘yes.’ Pwede naman po.” Nag-taping na siya ng ilang eksena na ipinakita niya ang iba’t ibang figure skating moves, kasama sina Ashley, Xian at isa pang figure-skater, si Roxie Smith.

Sequel ng hit movie noon na Here Comes The Bride, ang parating nang movie na Here Comes The Groom.

Ang unang movie ay nagtampok kina Angelica Panganiban, Eugene Domingo, John Lapus, Tuesday Vargas at Jaime Fabregas.

Mas nakakatawa ang Here Comes The Groom based na rin sa malakas na tawanan sa loob ng sinehan nang magkaroon ng Grand Kasalan Premiere ang movie na dinirek ni Chris Martinez sa Cinema 1 ng SM Megamall. Nasa cast sina Enchong Dee, Keempee de Leon, Maris Racal, Awra Briguela, Gladys Reyes and Eugene Domingo, with the special participation nina Miles Ocampo and Tony Labrusca, with Nico Antonio, Iyah Mina, Fino Herrera at Kuya Kim Atienza.  Introducing naman sina Xilhouete at Kaladkaren.

Ang Here Comes The Groom ay produced ng Quantum Films ni Atty. Joji Alonso, CineKo Productions at Brighlight Productions, at entry sa First Summer Metro Manila Film Festival na magsisimula sa April 8, 2023 in cinemas nationwide.
