Aba si Frankie (o Kaki para kay Shawie) ang front act ng concert ng British group na Workshy ngayong August 10 sa The Theater, Solaire Resorts & Casino.
“My baby girl Frankie is doing Front Act for the very first time for British band WORKSHY (a favourite of mine since the 90s!!!!),” bahagi ng tweet n Shawie.
“First time ever opening a show wooo!” shout out naman ni Frankie.
Nakilala ang grupong Workshy sa mga kantang Fascination, In This Neighborhood, Troubledmind at revival ng kantang It’s Too Late at I Say a Little Prayer.
Ate Gay supalpal sa manager ni Jona
Nagsusumigaw ng Facebook ang komedyanteng si Ate Gay o Gil Morales sa totoong buhay sa manager ng singer na si Jona (Viray).
“’Yung manager ni Jona Viray nag-yes sa akin biglang mag Davao daw si Jona...clap clap pagpatuloy mo po yan mwahhh,” sarkastikong post ni Ate Gay.
Walang detalyeng inilabas ang komedyante pero tila conflict of schedules ang nangyari.
Tinugunan naman ng isang Arlene Mayer ang shout out ni Ate Gay sa komento nito.
“I just want to clarify my side since you posted this publicly. Nakarating kasi sa amin ni Jona through other fans and friends itong post mo.
“In the first place, when you requested and asked for a favour to have Jona in your birthday show, sinabi ko na agad sayo na may tentative booking si Jona kaya hindi ako nakapag-confirm sayo agad..
“We talked last Saturday (July 28) and even if I already informed you about her tentative booking, you still insisted and said na, ‘kahit humabol nalang sya ng mga 12midnight dahil sa zirkoh naman ito and ‘surprise guest’ naman si Jona, di sya ia-anounce as guest.’
“I just said ‘sige pero may naka-tentative ha.’
“However, come Tuesday (July 31) nagconfirm ang booking ni Jona sa Davao. Kaya as much as we want to be here for your birthday show, kahit nga mag-fly in and out pa kami ay hindi din aabot.
“That’s why I informed you IMMEDIATELY as soon as nagconfirm yung booking. Nagtext na nga ako sayo twice humihingi ng pansensya since you didn’t reply on my first text.
“You are an artist as well, and I know you understand how event booking works. I am sure you have experienced the same situation, in one way or another.
“We always do our best to entertain requests and favors asked, even for charity or with no talent fee man yan if our schedule permits at marami na kaming napagbigyan na kahit pa PRO BONO basta kaya taaga.
“We find it inappropriate and unprofessional kasi what you did here. Nakakapanira ng kapwa lalo na hindi po naman kinukuwento ang buong story, Yung side mo lang alam ng public.
