Humayo wagi!

YSTAR - Baby E - Pang-masa

Bagama’t hindi nakarating ang major awardees in the recently concluded first The Eddys, na organized ng Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEED) and held sa Kia Theaters last Sunday, July 9, still maituturing ang event sa success.

Well, if only because all of the officers and members of SPEED were not just in their best togs but at their best, likewise, in entertaining their guests, and the presentation, courtesy if Viva Live and ABS-CBN, was okay, maituturing itong isang major happening sa showbiz.

Now back to the absent awardees.

No show din sina Angel Locsin at John Lloyd Cruz, awardees both for Best Supporting Actress and Actor, respectively. Si Angel para sa Everything About Her at John Lloyd para sa Ang Babaeng Humayo.

JD Ching, office administrator ng Star Cinema, received Angel’s award on her behalf.

Earlier during the program, Direk Lav was already given the The Manny Pichel Award, an award named after the late entertainment editor, Manny Pichel, and given to a showbiz personality who has bring immense honor to local showbiz.

Direk Lav’s Ang Babaeng Humayo was highly recognized sa ilang international filmfest abroad.

Nora, Rhian, Maria Isabel at Christian, ‘di nang-isnab

Namataan din namin si Maria Isabel Lopez, who was a contender for Best Supporting Actress para sa Pamilya Ordinaryo.

Magkasamang dumating, of course, ang mag-asawang sina Aiza Seguerra at Liza Diño-Seguerra.

Arnel Natividad directed nga pala the show.
