Charice gustong magpaliwanag kung bakit walang pera

Is singing sensation Charice really in deep financial trouble?

Well, that’s reportedly what her lola on her mother side is flaunting?

Sige, we heard she requested for a presscon, so obviously she could tell the truth.

Let’s hope we’ll be one among the invited, Salve A.

Marian naghahanda na sa pagiging housewife

Just when everyone thought Marian Rivera is on leave, at least, until next year, here comes the report that she will soon start with a new TV series, reportedly entitled Carmela, for her  network GMA 7.

‘‘It will be a sitcom,’’ she said of her new assignment, ‘‘where I’m supposedly to display not just my talent for comedy but my skill in dancing.’’

She has no idea yet who her co-stars will be. But, definitely, her boyfriend Dingdong Dantes, an expert dancer (he was member of a dance group before he became an actor), will not be one of them. He is currently busy with a new series himself, Genesis, where he has for his co-stars Lorna Tolentino and Rhian Ramos.

Marian’s last series, also for GMA 7, was Temptation of Wife, where she was awarded actress in the last PMPC (Philippine Movie Press Club) Star Awards for Television.

The same series won her a nomination in the last Asian TV Awards, together with Lorna Tolentino, who was cited naman for Pahiram ng Sandali, also aired on GMA 7.

Marian’s last movie was Kung Fu Divas with AiAi delas Alas.

Is Marian preparing na to become a housewife?

Well, her friends say it’s high time she considers. After all, anytime soon, baka ’di na niya matanggihan ang offer ng kasintahang si Dingdong.

She’s 28. Dingdong’s is reportedly in his early 30s.

Marian reportedly plans to take up culinary arts. But for a while, before she joined showbiz, she taught in a pre-school. She finished psychology kasi at the De La Salle University sa Cavite.

What takes Dingdong’s time these days, aside from his new series, Genesis, is his effort to build a classroom for the mga kabataang nag-aaral sa Estancia, Iloilo. Ayon nga sa kanyang talent manager na si Perry Lansigan, Dingdong has seen the devastation wrought by Typhoon Yolanda in Estancia.

Not one schoolhouse was spared. And the children daw whom Dingdong had the chance to meet and talk with were begging him to help them.

Which is why, explained Perry, at the simple and small party which they tendered for the entertainment press to thank them personally for the help they all accorded him, Dingdong and all his fellow PPL Entertainment talent during the year, to help them realize the wish ng mga kabataang nag-aaral sa Estancia.

Kaya what was saved daw from the raffle sana and the one hundred peso deducted from the monetary Christmas gift gives each guest will be added to the amount collected from all his talents para makapaggawa ng classroom kahit isa man lang daw.

Per classroom daw, sa estimate ng principal ng school na kanilang nakausap, would cost, at least, P600,000.

Bless you, Perry, and your talents.
