Sa before and after photos, makikita ang body transformation ni Gab mula sa pagiging payat hanggang sa magkaroon ito ng six-pack abs.

Bahagi raw ito ng kanyang malaking pagbabago para mabalanse ang kanyang physical and mental growth. Hindi kaila sa marami na dumaan sa mental health breakdown ang anak ni Gary Valenciano. “Physical and mental health is the true definition of wealth. Earlier this year, I wasn’t in a good place, battled anxiety and lost 20 pounds due to not eating and not sleeping properly. My mental struggles manifested, hence, my critical weight loss,” caption ni Gab sa IG.

Ngayon daw ay kaya ni Gab na tingnan ang sarili sa salamin, hindi tulad noon na ayaw niyang makita ang sarili. “I hated what I saw in the mirror, so I had to make a choice. And I chose to fight. I surrounded myself with people who pushed me, who encouraged me and who helped me gain back my fire. And that goal was to start loving and taking care of ‘me’ again.

“I feel stronger than ever, confident and most importantly, happy. Make a decision to be better today, just life in general, and take it one day at a time. No need to rush. You’ll get there, you just need to keep walking towards the right direction,” diin pa niya.

Noong 2020, naging open si Gab sa pagkakaroon ng mental health problem at nais niyang maka-reach out sa maraming dumaranas ng depression, anxiety at severe sadness na puwedeng mauwi sa suicide.

“When everything seems to be fine, then you wake up the next day feeling absolutely worthless, blind and unable to see beyond the next day. Depression and your state of mind will never define you,” sey pa niya.

Miss U PH, sa bohol ang coronation

Sa Hennan Resort Covention Center in Panglao, Bohol na magaganap ang coronation night ng Miss Universe Philippines on Sept. 30.

“We are grateful to the Governor Arthur Yap, the Bohol LGUs and tourism board and the IATF for allowing us to stage this year’s pageant in this most idyllic destination,” ayon sa official statement ng MUP.

Na-reschedule ang event ng MUP 2021 dahil sa maraming pagbabago sa safety and health protocols. Dapat ay noong Sept. 26 sa Clark Pampanga naganap ang coronation night ng MUP kung saan naka-locked-in ang 30 candidates sa safety bubble para sa ilang pre-pageant activities.

Umere na sa social media ang mga naging pre-pageant activities tulad ng national costume competition, preliminary interviews at preliminary swimsuit and evening gown competition.

In-update ng MUP na mula sa 30 ay 28 candidates na lang ang maglalaban para sa korona ng MUP. Ang dalawang candidates na nag-withdraw ay ang representative ng Zambales na si Joanna Maria Rabe dahil nagkaroon ito ng sakit na dengue, at ang representative ng Davao City na si Ybonne Ortega na nag-test positive for COVID-19.

Ang papasahan ng korona ni Miss Universe Philippines 2000 Rabiya Mateo ay ang ipapadala ng Pilipinas sa Miss Universe pageant in Israel sa darating na December.

Sarah Jessica Parker, nagluluksa sa pagkamatay ni Willie Garson

Nag-post na rin ng kanyang pamamaalam ang Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker sa pagpanaw ng kanyang co-star at kaibigan for 30 years na si Willie Garson. Pumanaw si Garson dahil sa sakit na pancreatic cancer. Nakasama ni SJP si Garson sa six season ng SATC at sa dalawang film versions nito. Huli na nilang pagsasama ang reboot ng SATC sa HBO Max na And Just Like That...

 “Willie. I will miss everything about you. And replay our last moments together. I will re-read every text from your final days and put to pen our last calls.
