MPTC Tour of Luzon, Cardinal Santos Medical Center muling magtatambal

MANILA, Philippines — Muling makakatambal ng Tour of Luzon ang Cardinal Santos Medical Center (CSMC) bilang official medical partner ng MPTC Tour of Luzon para sa 2026 edition.
Nilagdaan nina Tour of Luzon CEO at Chief Organizer Arrey Perez at CSMC President at CEO Raul Pagdanganan ang kanilang partnership sa isang formal signing ceremony sa CSMC sa Greenhills sa San Juan City.
“We extend our sincere gratitude to the Cardinal Santos Medical Center for their unwavering support,” sabi ni Perez. “This partnership goes beyond the race column — it’s about showcasing the Philippines’ ability to host a premier sports event with care and excellence.”
Ang Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. (MPTC) ang title sponsor ng karera.
Pakakawalan ang 2026 MPTC Tour of Luzon sa Abril 29 hanggang Mayo 13 tampok ang isang 14-stage race matapos ang eight-stage revival noong nakaraang taon.
Bilang official medical partner, magpapadala ang CSMC ng comprehensive medical support sa kabuuan ng karera kabilang ang fully equipped ambulances, dalawang tropa ng Emergency Medical Services (EMS) providers per ambulance at dedicated trauma doctor.
“Through our partnership with the MPTC Tour of Luzon, we are proud to contribute our expertise in emergency and trauma care to safeguard the athletes who inspire communities across the country,” wika ni Pagdanganan.
Magiging aktibo rin ang CSMC sa kanilang mga hospital partners sa Tour of Luzon route.
“Cycling at this level tests the limits of the human body,” sabi ni CSMC vice president at Chief Medical Officer Dr. Antonio Say.
“Risks come with high-speed competition and medical preparedness becomes a crucial part of the race that is why Cardinal Santos Medical Center, together with our partner hospitals across Luzon, will have medical teams ready along the route,” dagdag nito.
Papadyak ang Tour of Luzon sa CaSeBo sa Calatatagan, Tagaytay City, New Clark City at Clark, Palayan City, Bayombong, Santiago City, Tuguegarao, Pagudpud, Paoay, Laoag City, San Juan at Agoo sa La Union, Mangatarem at Lingayen sa Pangasinan at Baguio City.
Magtatapos ang bakbakan sa Baguio City sa Scout Hill sa Camp John Hay.
Humigit-kumulang sa 20 teams — kasama ang limang foreign squads — ang pepedal sa nasabing 1,800-kilometer race.
