Gobert umaasang maaayos ang relasyon kay Mitchell

SALTLAKE CITY -- Kumpiyansa si center Rudy Gobert na mapaplantsa ang kanilang relasyon ni Utah Jazz teammate Donovan Mitchell.

Nagalit si Mitchell sa paiging pabaya sa sarili ni Go­bert, ang unang NBA player na nagpositibo sa coronavirus disease (COVID-10) na nagresulta sa pagsuspindi sa NBA season.

Matapos si Gobert ay si Mitchell naman ang nagpositibo sa COVID-19 kasunod si Detroit Pistons big man Christian Wood na huling nakalaban ni Gobert.

“It’s true that we didn’t speak for a while after this, but we spoke a few days ago,” wika ni Gobert sa isang video post sa Instagram Live kahapon. “We’re both ready to go out there and try to win a championship for this team.”

Huling nagkomento si Mitchell sa relayson nila ni Gobert ay noong Marso 16 sa “Good Morning America” ng ABC.

“To be honest with you, it took a while for me to kind of cool off, and I read what he said and heard what he said,” sagot ni Mitchell nang tanungin ni host Robin Roberts kung nakausap na niya si Gobert.

“I’m glad he’s doing OK. I’m glad I’m well. I’m just r­eally happy, to be honest, Robin, that it wasn’t the whole (team).”

Ayon kay Gobert, nakatanggap siya ng mga death threats ilang araw matapos siyang magpositibo sa COVID-19 at pinalaki lamang umano ang hidwaan nila ni Mitchell.
