A preview of what to wear this summer was presented by international clothing brand Yishion to a select audience at its flagship store at Shangri-La Plaza mall in Mandaluyong City.
A mini-fashion show of ready-to-wear apparel for the young and young-at-heart took center stage with looks that are casual yet chic. Each piece of apparel uses quality fabrics that are cool and crisp — trademarks of the global multi-awarded Chinese retail fashion brand.
Seen at the afternoon tea party were Yishion brand manager and The Expressions Group human resources manager Joan Chung. Also present were The Expressions Group merchandise planning and control manager Jason Lim and 2012 Best Dressed awardee Sheree Chua.
The soft-spoken Joan swears to the versatility of each item as one can create a variety of looks with only a few pieces from the display racks. Twenty-somethings and smart dressers of any age can have a field day at Yishion’s other branches at The District mall in Cavite and the newly opened Yishion Fairview Terraces.

A fabulous evening with Minerva
A fun, smashing night out was organized by the high-spirited Minerva Tanseco for a number of her closest friends at the chic Eclipse Entertainment Lounge of Solaire Resort & Casino. Everyone had a blast dancing the night away and enjoying each other’s company.

It is a tradition among this small group of close friends to throw a party whenever a member’s birthday is up — this time, it was for Duday Tuason’s belated celebration at The Shoe Room of The Peninsula Manila’s Salon De Ning, Duday’s favorite.
Arm in arm with her husband Noel, Duday was simply radiant in her long white dress. The night started off with some friendly chit-chat and some catching up, and before long, everyone was up and dancing till the wee hours of the morning!
