Art in full bloom

Former Dutch Ambassador to Manila Theo Arnold is not only an accomplished diplomat. He is also an author and an artist.

Recently, he held an art exhibit and launched his novel entitled Torn Between Two Lovers at The Bellevue Manila, southern metro’s incomparable beacon of hotel service excellence.

Metro Manila’s luminaries from the diplomatic, government, business and society circles were welcomed by The Bellevue Hotels and Resorts chairman Johnny Chan and marketing and communications corporate director Ryan Chan. A ribbon-cutting ceremony started the event, led by Ambassador Arnold with Ryan Chan, Chilean Ambassador Roberto Mayorga Lorca, Caecilia Legowo, Beth Victoria and Debbie Chan.

Congratulations to Ambassador Arnold and to The Bellevue Hotels and Resorts team for this successful fete for the arts! Bravo!

Home & Away

Luxury was at its finest as Lifestyle Asia gathered luminaries from the business, diplomatic, civic and social circles for the launch of its limited edition coffee book, Home & Away. Being the magazine’s first event of the year, it was fitting for the book launch to be held at the Writer’s Bar of Raffles Makati.

Guests were treated to a specially created menu of hors d’ oeuvres and overflowing champagne, wines and signature cocktails. One Mega Group chairman Jerry Tiu, founder and CEO Sari Yap and Lifestyle Asia editor-in-chief Anna Sobrepeña made sure that everyone enjoyed the night.

An enchanting performance rendered by world-class pianist Raul Sunico and Carnegie Hall singer Stephanie Reese capped off the night.

Congratulations!
