Choices and consequences

The picturesque Pinto Art Museum in Antipolo City was the perfect venue for the unveiling of Daniel dela Cruz’s 10th one-man exhibit of pieces of metal sculpture entitled Doorway to Decision.

It was a well-attended exhibit launch with almost 200 guests led by the guests of honor Italian Ambassador Luca Fornari with his wife Silvana and Makati City  Mayor Junjun Binay and museum owner Dr. Joven Cuanang.

Art connoisseurs and distinguished personalities like Dr. Elenita Binay, former Rizal Rep. Jack Duavit and Education Secretary Bro. Armin Luistro flocked to the hilltop venue to witness Daniel’s creations — all 38 of them — his largest exhibition ever!

Daniel’s wife Monica and children Eduardo, Dana and Diego, his parents and parents-in-law as well as other relatives came in full support.

Making a sumptuous culinary impression in Cebu

With the rich flavors and colorful appeal of Chinese cuisine, seasoned celebrity chefs Gene and Gino Gonzalez recently returned to Marco Polo Plaza Cebu to create an extraordinary feast. The father-son tandem made culinary wonders for the sixth time at the majestic five-star hotel in Cebu City led by the visionary general manager Hans Hauri.

Guests were delighted to savor a wide variety of scrumptious dishes that exuded authenticity with every bite.

Campus party

Babes and Leny Reyes, owners of the Central Colleges of the Philippines, hosted a joint birthday dinner at the campus grounds recently. Special guests were their loyal friends from Inner Wheel Club of Manila (IWCM) led by its immediate past president Minerva Tanseco.
