Tea at the Tent
OH YES, IT'S JOHNNY! - Johnny Litton () - September 15, 2005 - 12:00am
It was another colorful evening as the Catholic Women’s Club recently held their annual tea party at The Tent in Fort Bonifacio Global City. Dubbed Ports of Call, the vibrant affair had the CWC ladies dressed in costumes from all around the world and performed dances from different countries – the Philippines, USA, Spain, Mexico, China, India, Jamaica and Indonesia.

The annual tea committee was led by hardworking CWC chairman Nene Leonor, assisted by co-chairpersons Mabel Abano and Evelyn Duran, fellowship chair Myrna Borromeo and CWC president Linda Salonga. The lively presentation was led by guest singers Chinggoy Alonso and Pinky Marquez.

The proceeds of the fellowship and fundraising affair will be used for the repair of the Elsie Gaches Village cottages.

Congratulations for a successful event, ladies!
A Modern-Day Fairy Tale
It was a fairy tale come true when lovebirds Kathleen Kierulf and Franco Limjuco tied the knot at the Santuario de San Antonio Church in Forbes Park, Makati. Family and friends witnessed the joyful ceremony as the glowing bride looked stunning in her Jun Escario and OJ Hoffer creation encrusted with pearls, sequins, and crystal. The dashing groom was teary-eyed as he watched his lady walk down the aisle.

Kitty, as she is affectionately known by family and friends, is the daughter of Joey Kierulf and Lily Guevarra Styner, while Franco is the second son of Bert Limjuco and Maryann Ojeda Lumen.

Afterwards, everyone proceeded to the NBC Tent in the Fort, where the English Garden setting extended the fairy tale atmosphere of the whole affair – lush trees, peonies, lavender and green hydrangeas and lily of the valley flowers. The celebration continued until the wee hours of the morning.

May you have a happy and fulfilling union, Kitty and Franco!
