TOKYO, Japan — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. continued the second day of his state visit to Japan on Wednesday, May 27, with a series of ceremonial, diplomatic and economic engagements in Tokyo aimed at strengthening ties between the Philippines and Japan.
The day’s activities included a state call with Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako at the Imperial Palace, meetings with Japanese lawmakers and business stakeholders, and discussions focused on expanding cooperation in trade, investments and other strategic sectors between the Philippines and Japan.
