Trick or treat: Killer clowns and horror dolls in Singapore for Halloween

SINGAPORE, Singapore — Visitors scream as they encounter twisted clowns and dolls in the staff and partners preview of Universal Studios Singapore’s annual Halloween Horror Nights event.

Universal Studios Singapore Halloween Horror Nights runs from 27 Sept to 31 Oct on select nights. This year is the 9th edition of the annual event.

It features five haunted houses including “Twisted Clown University” and “Spirit Dolls”, a Japanese doll-themed house.

Halloween Horror Nights also takes place at Universal Studios in Los Angeles, Orlando, Singapore, and Osaka. Tickets start at S$60 (US$43).

The event is not recommended for children under 13.

Universal Studios Singapore says this year’s event aims to bring to life three of the most common phobias of all time: clowns, dolls, and confined spaces.
