A new leadership

“The new birth is infinite in its beginning because its beginning lies in infinity.” – Richard Baxter

“We discern the growth of grace as the growth of plants, which we perceive rather to have grown than to grow.”– John Flavel

Politics should be over.

Instead of having their sight on the next elections, self-serving politicians ought rather to focus their energy and ingenuity in alleviating the plight of our people, get out of their cocoons, set their vision on the future of our country and forget about their political ambitions.

For nothing worse can stop us along the way from metamorphosing, growing and fulfilling our dreams and aspirations as a nation than the heavy yoke of “politics by the wayside” among the three branches of government including the military.

“Politics” is the national sin that has held us down for decades. It is the lure with its countless dark wily strokes that has kept us “wild and senseless” at times, oddly enslaving and killing every democratic “liberty” we have. And all for political and corruption related reasons.

Destiny has beckoned Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III. Suddenly, we have a leader in him on top of Mt. Horeb. Hope and optimism are well on good grounds more than ever. P-Noy is determined to shake-off the dust and trails of the crooked path or past. We hailed him for his inaugural address. And immediately ahead all of us is the road that leads to a bright dawning.

Becoming as one flag under the present and new dispensation could spell a genuine change that may bring about the sprouting, maturing and coming into fruition of the seeds of greatness that lie ingrained in every Filipino, producing within each of us the Bagong Pilipinas we can be truly proud of.
