Tribute to heroes of education

MANILA, Philippines - Mentor to many young minds who thought dreams and hope were far and out of reach, 2009 CNN Hero of Year Efren Penaflorida shares his life-changing experience to some 4,000 educators nationwide. Penaflorida is main speaker at this year’s A Tribute to Teachers. A Tribute to Teachers, the country’s biggest and most anticipated annual gathering of teachers, is expected to gather in Cebu, more than 4,000 educators to acknowledge their heroism and selflessness in molding future generations.
