PLM honors its new lawyers

MANILA, Philippines - Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) College of Law will be hosting a testimonial dinner in honor of the newest batch of PLM lawyers. Seventy-five percent of PLM’s 20th anniversary Batch 2009 law graduates successfully hurdled the Bar exams. The national passing average was 24.58 percent. College of Law Dean Ernesto Maceda Jr. announced that the College will honor as well the newly appointed members of the PLM law faculty: Justice Myra Fernandez to the Court of Appeals, Justice Cielito Mindaro-Grulla to the Court of Tax Appeals and Atty. Venicio Flores to the Legal Education Board. Maceda will also be unveiling the College’s new seal and motto as part of its 20th anniversary celebration calendar. The dinner, to be held at the PLM Pride Hall, will be preceded by a Thanksgiving Mass at the PLM Chapel.
