NEW YEAR. "Hoy, kumareng Bebe, busy lagi ka (You look busy, Bebe). What are you preparing to greet the New Year?" Inday Nitz asked.

SUPERSTITION. "Para palihi (for luck), I am preparing dishes that have ingredients that are round such as peas, cherry tomatoes, grapes, apples, etc. How about you?" Bebe said.

MONGO. "Magpalihi pud ko pero munggos ra kay wa man koy kwarta. Lingin man pud ni, di ba (I also practice this tradition but I can only afford mongo. It's also round, isn't it)?
