ON THE GROUND. At Ayala Business Park days ago, a polio-stricken man was literally lying on the ground waiting for a ride.

WAVE. He waved at a jeepney when he saw it coming his way, and as the driver stopped his vehicle to ask where the man on the pavement was going, he said, "Take me to the jeepney terminal."

HELP. Since he had no crutches or any kind of support to help himself stand up, some passengers were ready to lend a hand and got off to help him board the vehicle.
