TRAFFIC. An international "land traffic observer" based in The Hague said Manila residents need not complain about the heavy vehicular traffic in their city. "Traffic congestion is everywhere," he was quoted as saying in a Hong Kong newspaper. "Sign of universal progress," he added.

WORST TRAFFIC. The traffic observer said Manilans "should not wail too much about congested traffic." An Ear informer got a list of 10 world cities with the worst traffic condition and Manila is not even in the list.
