School bullies

MARTIAL ARTS. An elementary school teacher, (a ma'am) who has completed a course in karate while on a scholarship grant in Korea passed on to her grade six pupils some tips on self-defense.

BULLIES. One day last December some grade school bullies grabbed the Christmas presents being carried by the teacher to a waiting taxi. Two of her girl students saw what happened and ran to her rescue. They gave the bullies (not their classmates) some karate lessons and retrieved the Christmas gifts they had seized.

SUGGESTION. An eskrima master once suggested that martial arts be taught to grade  school pupils in order to solve the problem caused by bullies in school.
