Manila Muslims sell rosaries

ROSARIES. A Muslim couple in Manila make a living by making and selling rosaries to churchgoers in Quiapo. This was learned by our Ear informer who happened to buy some rosaries from the couple outside of the Quiapo church. The couple who spoke Cebuano having been a resident of Davao for some years confided to our informer their being Muslim.

NUNS. The husband, who originally came from Marawi City, said he and his wife learned how to make rosaries from the livelihood center run by Catholic nuns. He said the nuns knew they were Muslims.
