Approval?

SIGN OF THE CROSS. Non-Catholics, including even the so-called Born Again Christians, criticize Catholics who make the Sign of the Cross when they pass by a church. The criticism got a surprise rebuke of sorts from no less than a Buddhist Monk.

PRAISEWORTHY. The monk, a Thai but British educated, said to a Filipino monk in Bangkok he was all praise for Filipinos who make the Sign of the Cross whenever they pass by a "house of worship." This according to an Ear informer who claims to have helped construct a Buddhist temple in Bangkok.
