Foiled debate

DEBATE. The Phl is known rightly or wrongly as a nation of gamblers where people bet on almost anything including those who can squirt one's urine the farthest. They bet also on debates. When Jojo Binay backed out from his debate with Sonny Trillanes, loud "Oh, nos" were heard in coffee shops and carenderias where bettors (don't call them gamblers) abound.

DISAPPOINTED. Many were disappointed by Jojo Binay's retreat. "Panahon na unta tong kakuhaa'g pako si Trillanes," the Binay fans were heard saying. "Nisamot na nuon ka taas sa pako," they said.
