Gun ban drive

GUN BAN. Reports have it that the police are stepping up the drive against unlicensed or loose guns, following the rise in killings (nationwide) committed by gun-toters. "The gunless man is always at the mercy of a gun holder," says an observer.

SOLUTION? Years back The Ear carried an item about a town in America where every resident was required to pack a gun and flaunt it in public. Result: No more gun-related crimes in that town. Everyone knows everyone else has a gun to hit back.
