MANICURE. That foreign tourist who said (in a past Ear column) that Filipinos love manicured finger and toe nails was right. A Cebuana who makes a living as "manicurista" told an Ear informer that she manicures some 1,000 finger and toe nails in this city alone per week.

AGES. This manicurista said her clients range from fish vendors to business executives. And their ages range from 20 to 70 years old. "Wa ko'y kliyente nga way trabaho kay 'thank-you-hon'," she said, adding: "Propesyon ta gud ni."
