Professionals turning priests

PRIESTS. A Catholic vocation society has tried to campaign for young boys to go into the priesthood but failed. "Kadaghanan gustong mo-propesyonal sama sa enhinyero, doktor, abogado, etc.," said a retired priest.

PROFESSIONALS. But there is a group of professionals in Manila who left their professions in favor of the priesthood. An Ear informer said he was recently introduced to some professionals (engineers, accountants, medical doctors, among them) currently in the seminary studying to become priests.

ORDINATION.These licensed professionals are scheduled to be ordained Catholic priests very soon, according to our Ear informer.
