ENDORSERS. Many showbiz personalities are endorsing certain products and services. In the US, the public is informed if the endorser does the endorsing on his/her own or is paid for the endorsement. "This is truth in advertising," said an Ear informer who used to work for an ad firm in New York.

PUBLIC. This ad man said in fairness to the public an endorser of a product must carry this line under her name in the ad: "Paid endorser." They do that in America. But a local ad man was heard saying: "Amerika man to."
