Tears at Misa de Gallo

TEARS. It was a tearful Misa de Gallo that a Cebuano lay minister attended in Loboc, Bohol, last Dec. 16. Thousands of devotees gathered at the devastated Loboc church where the altar was put up on a boulder that was once part of the church wall.

SOBBING. "Everyone was in tears and sobbing throughout the Mass," the lay minister, our informer, said. "Dili ka na mangutana pa nganong daghang luha ang miagas," he said. "There were loud sobbings as the 'Our Father' was sung and during the 'Peace' portion of the Mass," he added.
