A Kano called Dagol

TUBA DRINKER. Douglas (family name withheld) is a former American sailor who has decided to legally settle in Cebu. His neighbors and friends call him "Dagol" and he loves it. Dagol has learned to adopt to his neighbors' lifestyle including the drinking of tuba every afternoon.

PINOY LOOK. Because Dagol is part Mexican he looks like a Pinoy mestizo. In fact some call him Tisoy. Dagol earns a living by selling vegetable crops which he grows in his father-in-law's vacant lot in a barangay in Boljoon. Dagol is now in his 60s but he looks 50. When asked what his youth secret, he said: "Inum tuba, Bay."
