Helmet use in Dumaguete

THE LAW. An Ear informer overheard a lawyer from Cebu City commenting on the Dumaguete City Council’s opposition on the use of helmets by motorcycle riders. “Naunsa man ning ilang city council? Are they working for the welfare of their constituents? Angay unta nga ilang i-educate ang mga tao bahin sa importansya sa paggamit og helmet, dili kay sila mismo ang mo-kontra sa balaod,” said the lawyer.

SAFETY. “Sakto gyud tong abogadoha. Imbis nga ang konseho ang mo protekta sa mga tao, sila na man hinuon ang nipahamak sa mga motorist sa pag supak sa helmet law. Naunsa! Wa gyu’y baruganan!” said our informer.
