Vacation plan changed because of drive-by killers

PLAN CHANGED. A retired Cebuano mediaman in the States who had finalized his plan to send his two sons to Cebu for their first vacation home, has changed his plan. Instead he is sending the boys to Singapore where an elder brother of his lives. Why the change of plan? “Nabasahan nako sa inyong online edition nga dunay drive-by killers diha sa ato,” he said.

DANGEROUS. This ex-mediaman said these drive-by killers are indulging in their own kind of Russian roulette where the victims are determined by luck. “Kon lucky ka makauli kag buhi apan kon way suwerte sa menteryo ka uli,” he said in an e-mail message “It’s dangerous,” he added. He used to work as reporter for an old “minor” Cebu daily.
