Kerida 101: Quotes from our favorite Pinoy movies

MANILA, Philippines – Kerida, kabit, mistress, the other woman, the home wrecker, the third wheel, kabechina, katrina kahalili – call her whatever names you want to call her, but she has always been the wife’s greatest competition and the husband’s greatest temptation.

The season of love will be ushering shortly, but we are not here to spoil your romance. Just here to give you some hard-hitting reality bites, that no matter how immoral and unjustifiable “keridas” are, they have always been there, sneaking around, fooling with the wrong person and loving for the wrong reasons.

Here are some of the most memorable “kerida” lines from our most favorite Pinoy movies.

The first time you see your husband's kabit, you probably want to say this:

"Ikaw pala! Ikaw pala ang sinasabi ng asawa ko na asawa mo, na asawa ng bayan!"
