MANILA, Philippines — The crowd at the Manila Cathedral, many of whom camped out overnight in a vigil, awaited Pope Francis' arrival there to celebrate Mass with the religious and clergy.

Their long wait and patience was well rewarded with Pope Francis greeting and waving to as much people as he could. Camera phones and tablets were all in the air as people tried to take photos of the Pontiff.
