MANILA, Philippines — To ensure that they arrive on time at testing sites, takers of the 2025 Bar examinations will be exempted from the number coding scheme in Metro Manila on Sept. 10.
The Supreme Court (SC) has issued guidelines for the number coding exemption on the second day of the three-day examinations.
The exemption applies to examinees going to testing centers in Metro Manila and those whose testing sites are outside the metropolis but will be passing through it.
The SC said the examinees must display a copy of their Bar exam permit or notice of admission on their vehicle’s windshield for proper identification.
Traffic enforcers are directed to recognize the exemption from the number coding scheme and assist the examinees if necessary.
If apprehended, the examinees must present their notice of admission to traffic enforcers to be exempted.
The SC also said the examinees must register their vehicle online by Sept. 8 to be exempt from contactless apprehension. They are allowed to register only one vehicle.
Vehicles flagged through contactless apprehension will be granted exemption only if the notice of admission is prominently displayed on the rear windshield and if the vehicle is registered in the database.
The SC said failure to prominently display the notice will be deemed a waiver of the number coding exemption.
The other Bar exam dates are Sept. 7 and 14, which fall on Sundays when the number coding scheme is not in effect
