Woman nabbed for child exploitation
MANILA, Philippines — A resident of Mabalacat, Pampanga has been arrested for selling online sensitive photos and videos of her children to foreigners, according to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
The woman, identified only as Zie, told NBI agents that at first, she was the only one doing the illicit activity. She said she did it for money.
“However, there were times when clients would ask if her children, aged 10 and eight years, could join her in the video,” Olga Angustia-Gonzales, chief of the NBI human trafficking division, said on Friday.
Gonzales said the suspect decided to involve her children, charging between $50 and $100, depending on the request of the clients.
During the raid on the house of the suspect, authorities found sex toys as well as sensitive photos and videos of the minors in the phone of the woman.
