Man dies after jumping off footbridge

MANILA, Philippines — A man died after jumping off a footbridge in front of the University of Sto. Tomas along España Boulevard in Manila yesterday.

Probers have yet to identify the fatality.

Police said a man on a bicycle was passing by when he heard a loud thud at around 1:25 p.m.

The incident snarled traffic in the area.
