400 Taguig residents get cash aid

MANILA, Philippines — Around 400 residents in Taguig received financial assistance from the city government, Mayor Lani Cayetano said recently.

The recipients are beneficiaries of the city’s Lifeline Assistance for Neighbors In Need of Care and Support program, a initiative of the city government to provide comprehensive support to the marginalized and vulnerable sectors.

Cayetano led the distribution of the payout at the city hall on Jan. 9.
