4 suspects caught with P.2 million shabu

Emmanuel Tupas - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — Four suspected drug dealers were apprehended during an anti-narcotics operation that yielded around 204,000 worth of shabu in Quezon City on Friday night.

Marlon Roxas, 43; Aiza Roxas, 35; Archie Sevilla, 33, and George Hesta, 43, were arrested by operatives of the Quezon City Police District in Barangay Pasong Tamo at around 10:45 p.m., QCPD director Brig. Gen. Nicolas Torre III said.

The suspects allegedly negotiated a deal with a police officer for the illegal drugs in their possession.

Police said they recovered at least 30 grams of shabu from the suspects who were handcuffed after receiving the marked money.

Charges of drug trafficking under Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, are being readied against the suspects.

The four suspects were among the 25 people arrested for drugs in Quezon City since Friday.
