Go backs local infra development
MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Bong Go is pushing for the development of public infrastructure that will benefit the people, particularly in areas where the need for infrastructure is high.
“Infrastructure is one of the most important investments that we can make in our country. It creates jobs, stimulates economic growth and improves the overall quality of life for our citizens,” he said.
Go issued the statement as he and District 2 Councilor Mikey Belmonte inaugurated two multipurpose buildings in Quezon City on Friday.
Go said the construction of the multipurpose buildings will provide space for various activities, such as community meetings, social gatherings and other events.
These public infrastructures will not only improve the quality of life of the residents in these barangays but also contribute to the promotion of unity and camaraderie among them, he added.
Go cited the significance of former president Rodrigo Duterte’s “Build, Build, Build” and President Marcos’ “Build Better More” infrastructure development programs.
