3 injured in gas tank explosion

MANILA, Philippines — A liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tank exploded in Pasig City yesterday, leaving three persons injured.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the LPG tank exploded at a house along Narra street, Barangay Kalawaan at around 11:48 a.m.

Apolonio Capistrano, 51; Cesar Capistrano, 44, and a 17-year-old boy were rushed to the Pasig City General Hospital for treatment following the explosion.

The BFP said the Capistranos suffered second degree burns. The boy had burns and bruises on both arms.
