Cop shot dead in Isabela

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines — A policeman was gunned down in Isabela yesterday.

Cpl. Marnix Baquiran, a resident of Peñablanca, Cagayan and assigned in Reina Mercedez in Isabela, was driving to the police station in his Toyota Fortuner when his vehicle was shot several times. He died at the scene.
